Blackjack Pro follows the standard Las Vegas Strip rules but comes with some twists. The dealer will always hit on a soft 17, which is a bit unfortunate, but there is an insurance bet that pays 2:1. FanDuel also has a solid roulette portfolio, with more than 10 variants of the popular casino game, including one in-house title called Roulette. Blackjack is another classic casino game that has made its way online. FanDuel can replicate the casino experience through the magic of technology and expertise. A player wishes to draw cards that add up to 21 without going over or get as close to 21 as possible.

iGaming numbers released last week showed steady overall growth and Pennsylvania players’ preference for table games, a bit of a deviation in the world of online gaming. Table games attracted $274 million in wagers compared to $192 million for slots.
FanDuel Casino turned heads in January. It took $84.7 million in table games wagers. The amount is impressive by any measure, but FanDuel Casino did it in just eight days.
Prime time to start an online casino
It was a busy time for online casino launches in Pennsylvania since operators wanted to have their products available ahead of Super Bowl LIV on Feb. 2.
On Jan. 24, FanDuel, through a partnership with Valley Forge Casino and Boyd Gaming, launched its online casino. Pennsylvania represents the first state in which the company offers an online casino under the FanDuel brand.
BetAmerica soft-launched its iGaming offering on Jan. 28. The Churchill Downs-operated BetAmerica is affiliated with Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Pennsylvania. Then, BetRivers online casino debuted on Jan. 30 bumping PA’s iGaming options to eight.
It’s no secret that the Super Bowl is the most popular sporting event for bettors every year. Releasing an online casino during the week leading up to the Big Game is a no-brainer if the product is ready.
Jesse Chemtob, FanDuel’s vice president/general manager of casino told PlayPennsylvania:
“We saw an opportunity to get out ahead of the Super Bowl knowing we would have a large influx of new and returning sportsbook customers coming to play. We wanted this new product to be there and them to experience FanDuel Casino for the first time. The week we launched was a quiet week from a sports betting perspective so it allowed us to get the soft launch off seamlessly.”
Sportsbook customers translate to casino
The three new online casinos are accessible through already established PA sportsbook apps. Since entering the Pennsylvania market in the summer of 2019, FanDuel online sportsbook has dominated. In January, they were tops in handle ($156 million) and revenue ($8 million.)
FanDuel accounts for about half of all bets placed online in Pennsylvania. Being integrated with the top-performing sportsbook was a big reason for the impressive numbers. Currently, FanDuel Casino is only available via iOS and Android, not desktop.
According to Chemtob, the majority of players at FanDuel Casino were sportsbook customers.
“Obviously, the FanDuel sportsbook customer base in PA is a good one given our position in the market. We are actively talking to the customers within the sportsbook app.”
Blackjack most popular game
FanDuel Casino now offers five table games and twelve slots.
FanDuel Casino table games:
- European Roulette
- Blackjack Classic Touch
- French Roulette
Over eight days, table games generated $85 million in wagers which translated into 31% of the statewide total of table game wagers. In terms of revenue, table games raked in $1.7 million, more than 4.5-times that of online slots at the site. Slot revenue totaled $375,000 for the month at FanDuel.
“Not surprisingly,” said Chemtob, blackjack was the most popular game at FanDuel Casino. He added they experienced “pretty good” activity on roulette. For slots, Divine Fortune did well in January.
“We are definitely encouraged by the results so far given that we were only live the back half of the month. We were surprised how interested FanDuel sportsbook customers would be in a FanDuel Casino product in Pennsylvania. I think there is some pent-up demand in that market in particular given the limited casino offerings available to players in the state.”
Whats next for FanDuel Casino?
After a scorching start out of the gate, what does FanDuel Casino have in store for an encore?
The PA library still pales in comparison to its New Jersey counterpart. FanDuel has the fewest slot titles of any PA online casino but it didn’t stop their rapid rise.
Their two blackjack options is common but the option to play for as little as ten cents per hand is one of its more unique features.
Chemtob commented on what’s next:
“We are committed to providing a good product to our sportsbook customers in Pennsylvania. It’s obviously our first FanDuel branded casino product and we want to make sure that we are delivering a great experience to our customers. We are happy with the results so far but we are still staying humble and want to add more games and build the product.”
How other online casinos fared
January’s revenue report included seven online casinos, including newcomers FanDuel Casino and BetAmerica. It did not include BetRivers.
BetAmerica, which was live for just two days in January, posted low revenue figures. However, like at FanDuel, table games did attract more wagers ($90,273) than slots ($57,493). FanDuel and SugarHouse led the way in table games in January while SugarHouse and Hollywood continued to dominate the online slot scene.
January figures for PA online casino operators:
|Online Operator||Slot wagers||Slot revenue||Tables wagers||Tables revenue|
|SugarHouse (Rivers Philly)||$70.4 million||$2.4 million||$76 million||$1.1 million|
|Hollywood (Penn National)||$47.3 million||$2.1 million||$22.3 million||$260,000|
|FanDuel (Valley Forge)||$9.3 million||$380,000||$84.7 million||$1.7 million|
|Parx Casino||$32.4 million||$1.2 million||$23 million||$490,000|
|PokerStars (Mt. Airy)||$22.1 million||$590,000||$49.3 million||$730,000|
|Unibet (Mohegan Sun)||$11.1 million||$500,000||$18.7 million||$280,000|
|BetAmerica (Presque Isle)||$57,000||$3,000||$90,000||$7,000|
|Monthly totals||$192.7 million||$7.2 million||$274 million||$4.6 million|

The FanDuel Sportsbook and Casino app is one of the highest-rated apps for good reason: It’s stable, fluid, and intuitive.
However, the game depth isn’t nearly as extensive as some of the other options in Michigan, making FanDuel Casino more geared toward sports bettors than online casino players. But if you like to bet on both, few options offer such betting diversity within a single, exceptional app.
You may not be impressed by the promotions either, but you can bet at the FanDuel Casino risk-free for the first 24 hours. And there’s no Michigan law against joining multiple online casinos.

FanDuel Casino Michigan Promotional Grade
Across the board, FanDuel offers new users risk-free betting as a bonus. This is pretty typical, but its terms are slightly more creative than other operators. FanDuel provides multiple risk-free games (up to $200 total) for 24 hours after your first deposit.
Comparatively, the FanDuel Sportsbook risk-free bet promo is $1,000 on your first bet, not on as many bets as you like in the first 24 hours. The casino version, while lower than the sportsbook version, gives you the freedom to explore the games risk-free.
However, that casino bonus is at best mediocre. Most online casinos in Michigan offer far more lucrative options.
For example, BetMGM offers a $25 no-deposit signup bonus as well as a 100% deposit match up to $1,000. That’s as much as $1,025 in free money for new players.
Needless to say, the FanDuel Casino offer is abysmal in comparison to BetMGM.
But even their biggest corporate rival, DraftKings, offers a 20% deposit bonus up to $500 as well as free blackjack credits and other exciting promos.
Fanduel Casino Blackjack
Overall, the FanDuel risk-free betting offer is worth utilizing, but it’s not great compared to other options in the state.
Refer-a-Friend Program – New Jersey’s FanDuel online casino (under the Betfair brand) also offers a refer-a-friend promo. For every person you refer to the service, each of you will get $100. This is a fantastic promo that benefits both you and whomever you refer. It is unclear whether FanDuel’s refer-a-friend will be introduced in Michigan.

FanDuel Casino Market Depth and Variety Grade
The number of games available at the FanDuel Casino in Michigan is about average, with original games and a modest selection of slots. Below we will look at popular casino games, and describe what they look like at FanDuel’s online casino.
However, unlike DraftKings Casino, FanDuel does not have Live Dealer rooms.
Blackjack is the most popular table game at most online casinos. FanDuel seems to have taken note, and offers three different variations of blackjack. This is actually less than most online casinos. But most people tend to stick to a couple of variations (even when there are a dozen or more options), so it isn’t necessarily a negative.
The FanDuel Casino features tried-and-true classics as well as newer options with high-quality graphics and special features. Wheel of fortune celebrity week. And while this is where FanDuel shines the brightest, it’s still significantly fewer slots than other sites and apps in Michigan.
One of the most exciting things about the slots at FanDuel is that they are all penny slots. However, you can still place significant bids. Even those who want to wager $50 or more per spin won’t have an issue finding options.
FanDuel also offers progressive slots including the extremely popular Divine Fortune. What makes a progressive slot unique from a traditional version is that the former builds value as more people play. This means that the jackpot can reach incredible peaks. It doesn’t matter if you’re playing twenty-cent spins or $100 spins. Everyone is going for the same huge pot.
While there aren’t many varieties to choose from, video poker is available at FanDuel. It’s a great option for anyone who wants to play automated poker from the comfort of home.
FanDuel Deposit and Cashout
FanDuel’s online casino allows you to deposit money in a variety of ways, but the most popular is through a credit or debit card. You can also use PayPal, an eCheck, PayNearMe, or wire transfer. There are also prepaid cards associated with FanDuel that can be used to add money to your casino account.
What is the best way to deposit at FanDuel?
The two best ways to deposit is via credit card or PayPal. Here’s why:
- Credit/Debit Card: You can enjoy instant deposits when you use a credit or debit card at the FanDuel Casino. If you use a bank transfer or other method, it could take a bit of time for the funds to clear in your account.
- PayPal: PayPal not only lets you deposit instantly, you can use it as a withdrawal method as well. If you use a credit or debit card to deposit, you’ll need to choose a different method to withdraw. That’s not the case with this popular e-wallet.
What is the minimum deposit amount at FanDuel’s online casino?
Ten dollars. You will need to deposit $10 at least once at FanDuel’s online casino to have the option to withdraw winnings. At that point, withdrawals are available using a number of methods.
FanDuel Casino Mobile App
If an online casino app has more games but constantly quits out or takes forever to load, what good is the variety? The FanDuel Sportsbook and Casino app is what really makes FanDuel shine compared to other options in the state.
Fanduel Live Blackjack
FanDuel’s online casino is available for iOS and Android smart devices. The iOS app is available in the App Store, while you’ll need to download the Android app directly from the site.
FanDuel rolls its sportsbook and online casino together into a single app for incredible convenience. With other companies, you need to download the sportsbook, casino, and DFS platform separately, but FanDuel (as well as DraftKings) has one app. This makes FanDuel easier to access than competitor BetRivers, which is often inconsistent about the availability of its apps in each state. BetRivers often launches Android and iOS apps at different times, often with a great deal of delay. This is not the case for FanDuel.
Further, the FanDuel Sportsbook and Casino app for Michigan is the same as the one in Pennsylvania, so you don’t need to search by a specific state. It’s pretty frustrating when you download an online casino app and create an account just to find out it’s for a completely different state.
The FanDuel app in Michigan will also work on all your different devices, whether its an iPhone, iPad, Note, or Galaxy. Just make sure your device meets the specified operating system requirements as well as has the memory space before downloading.
FanDuel’s reputation in the online gaming industry is second to none and they brought this reputation for success to the Michigan market. FanDuel’s reputation is due, in part, to the success of its sportsbook and Daily Fantasy Sports platform. But, the casino app also garners great praise.
The FanDuel Casino, though, falls short on its bonus and promotional offer as well as a truncated list of available slots and table games. Regardless, the app is strong and functional. With the backing of Motor City Casino in Detroit, FanDuel will be a force to be reckoned with in Michigan.
Is The FanDuel Online Casino Legit?
Yes, the FanDuel casino app is legit. Here are some of the reasons why:
The FanDuel Michigan Casino is a legal option for people 21 and over located in the state of Michigan. You can bet to your heart’s content without a concern that you’re breaking the law.
You also have legal recourse if there are any issues with FanDuel. While their reputation is stellar, it’s always good to have that peace of mind, which illegal and illegitimate sites do not provide.
It’s Well Regulated
The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) approves every online casino available to players in the state, including FanDuel. Not only that, they audit each and every game, and any new titles need to be approved by the MGCB before they’re added to the FanDuel Casino app.
It’s also been made clear that the MGCB takes this job very seriously. They are auditing each and every online gambling app before approving a license and permitting the app to launch. This is one of the reasons why it was difficult to speed up the launch process.
They Confirm Your Identity
When you join the FanDuel Casino, you will need to provide additional personal information including your address and the last four digits of your social security number. Illegitimate casinos will not have steps that ensure no one is stealing anyone’s identity to bet.
They’re Required To Pay Out Your Winnings
If you win at the FanDuel Casino, you should be able to keep your money. That seems obvious, but there are countless horror stories online of various illegal gambling sites withholding payment for ridiculous reasons. The worse you could do is post a negative review. Otherwise, you’re on your own.
All Michigan online casinos are required to pay out winnings, no matter what kind of hot streak you went on.
The Terms And Conditions Are Transparent
You can quickly and easily find out the stipulations specific to the bonus and promotion you may want to take advantage of at the FanDuel Casino. This includes the welcome bonus: your refunded net losses need to be bet with one time before you can withdraw. It’s that simple.
Why Choose FanDuel Casino In Michigan Over Illegal Betting Sites?
Offshore Betting Sites Are Illegal
It’s not likely that you’ll get into legal trouble if you bet at an illegal online casino. But there’s also a chance that you could be, a risk that just isn’t worth it if there are legal sites accessible in the state. The maximum penalty for a first-time offense is a $1000 fine and up to a year in jail. Again, not worth the risk.
Illegal Sites Are Largely Unregulated
Many offshore betting jurisdictions are little more than tax havens with little to no oversight. The requirement for basing your online casino there is a pay-to-play situation where, as long as you have enough money for a license, you can set up shop. Most of these companies aren’t even based in these jurisdictions, just registered to enter the global online casino market.
It’s Easy To Fake Your Identity
We don’t mean it’s easy for you to fake your identity, we mean it’s easy for other people to fake your identity. Many instances of identity theft occur at illegal online casinos, which sometimes will grant you free money in exchange for providing your social security number. And by your number, we mean anyone’s number.
Your Winnings Are Not Guaranteed
If you win a big sum at an illegal online casino, they will likely make it very difficult for you to claim all your winnings. For example, they might limit withdrawals to $10,000 a month, or tell you that they recognized some irregularities with your gameplay. The more you win, the higher the chances you’ll have an issue withdrawing.
Terms And Conditions Have Hidden Stipulations
You may find an exciting welcome bonus at an illegal site. But then you’ll find out later that you need to bet through it 35x or more on specific slots before you can withdraw your winnings.
Why Can You Trust The Michigan FanDuel Casino With Your Money?
The FanDuel Casino utilizes the latest SSL encryption to protect your data whether you’re playing online or through their app. This applies to log in as well as personal financial information.
FanDuel also allows you to add two-step authentication to your account. Every time you want to log in, you’ll receive a four-digit code to your mobile device to make sure it’s you who’s trying to bet. This is an optional feature that further protects your money.
Also, FanDuel doesn’t directly store your personal information, it’s stored in an inaccessible vault. This is thanks to their partnerships with some of the most respected security firms in the world.
FanDuel Bug Bounty
In addition to using state-of-the-art security protocols, FanDuel has a highly lucrative bug bounty. If anyone sees a potential security breach, they’ll reward them handsomely in direct cash payments.
Fanduel Blackjack Reviews
There have been several bugs found over the years, ensuring that any would-be hacks and breaches are covered. Hopefully, it stays that way, and if there are other vulnerabilities, hackers likely have more incentive to report it than to take advantage thanks to the bug bounty.
